The DET industrial blower ranges in sizes from 500 to 2000mm and includes a Scroll type housing and a backward inclined wheel.
Various volumes, pressures and class’ are available. They are made of mild steel construction and are capable of up to 150,000m3/h.
Radial fans with direct drive are used in an exceptionally wide range of applications. In particular, they are deployed in industrial applications where abrasive media or explosive gas volumes need to be transported. Examples include:
Industrial processes
Laboratories
Industrial workshops
Boiler rooms
Storerooms for hazardous goods
At petrol stations
The fan brings the air flow together and channels it in its concentrated state in one direction. This is known as a centrifugal function principle. The air is first taken in parallel to the drive axis. The rotation of the radial impeller then diverts the air flow by 90° and it is blown back out radially.
